The conventional fire alarm systems are designed for smaller-scale buildings and operate by dividing the premises into distinct zones. Within each zone, detectors and manual call-points are wired on a dedicated circuit. When an alarm is triggered, the control panel identifies the zone in which the event occurred, and the installer or maintenance personnel manually search that zone to locate the exact device.
